Can pure do it to any extent with out gettin prayer of def xp? (meaning can i get any gloves, if so whats the highest i can get)

 

 

 

I heard someone say to another pure once that he shuld get mith gloves, does that mean they are the highest i can get without def/prayer xp?

The best you can get i is barrow gloves... +12 to everything except pray....

I believe I read somewhere on these forums around the time it came out, that mith gloves were the best that pure without getting any def xp could have. I know that you'd have to get def xp for going back to Ape Atoll, and for the lumbridge guide portion, you have to have Nature Spirit done as a requirment. With just those two parts (and not being able to complete the entire thing) would take it down to Addy being the highest, from what I can see.

 

 

 

So maybe Addy is the best gloves you can get, unless I'm missing something else in the requirements that gives def xp.

ok so i did 4 of them:

 

 

 

Dwarf

 

Goblins

 

Evil Dave

 

Skratch Uglogwee (ogre)

 

 

 

and i only have access to black gloves

 

 

 

Pirates doesnt give further access

 

Monkey doesnt give further access

 

Lumby guide reqires nature spirit (def xp as reward)

 

Amrik varze requires legends quest started, (hero's quest gives def xp)

 

 

 

my question is does anybody know if i absolutely have to have completed nature spirit in order to do lumby guides quest

Yes, you do. It's a listed requirement, not just an honour-system guideline.. :lol:

well it also said i need ice gloves or gauntlets to cool the rock cake but i didnt...half of the requirements in the quest guides arent ABSOLUTELY 100% really required.

I have no idea, but I do know that completing the Lumbridge guide gave me access to Dragon gloves (it was the last quest I had to do). Every quest gives you an additional glove.
