Barrows help please.

Hey, im a little stuck on Barrows right now, so if someone could hand me some tips that would be great.

 

 

 

At the moment i dont have/intend to get 55 slayer. Im 77 mage, 74 Range, 62 pray and 60 defence (Uhh 60 attack and 50 strength wont go far i guess) And i was wondering the next best thing to slayer dart, that i may be able to get back at the end? (Is there like a spell i can use, which ill get runes back), or sha'll i use Range?

 

 

 

Im looking for a guide now, but could someone please help a lil? Thanks.

 

 

 

Also. Any idea what level the monsters in the vaults are?

Well, your next best bet would be casting fire bolt. You get a fair amount of chaos after every trip. And should work quite nicely. In all honesty even fire strike can work, just takes a little longer. :-$

 

 

 

They range from 40-100 I believe. Can't remember.

 

 

 

 

 

PS. NEVER use range at barrows except for ahrim, you'll be there for ages.

Awesome thanks. I heard taking a ddp or dds can help if you need to poison karil, as he has good defence again mage?

 

 

 

Any advise on how many fire bolts i'd be looking to take?

Yep,

 

Ranging instead of maging in Barrows is a no, no :shame:

 

Magic dart is the only spell which get its runes back from barrows.

 

Monsters 43 to 79

I use air wave all the time, but if you want your runes back I don't suggest you use that spell because you'll lose more bloods than gain. Also half the time you don't even get bloods back. So yea... use fire bolt/blast.
