Best place to train mage with curse?

I've tried training on wizards at the wizards tower and hobgobs and cows at the crafting guild.... are there any better f2p areas?

Well, almost anyplace where the monsters can't reach you will work.

 

The trick is to always fail when you cast it so you can keep on using the same monster(s).

 

 

 

I always liked to use a multicombat place so I'll always have a target.

 

So I usually cast from the key room in the Varrock sewers across the water

 

in to the 4 zombie ladder room.

 

 

 

But you could use the Port Sarim jail, the varrock palace red monk under

 

the stairs, ducks on the river, caged lesser, scorpions in the Al-kharid desert mine, etc.

 

 

 

There are lots of places that will work.

why don't you do it on rats in varrok sewers. there are tons of them, so you can always be casting. My friend got from 20-something to 55 on rats while trying to hit (and not trying to fail).

It's risky if you're using a mud staff as you should. I personally felt it was fine enough (WITH DRAGONFIRE SHIELD) to do it on black dragons while wearing full melee armor. I hardly hit still with 80 magic =p.

 

 

 

 

 

Another thing is finding a best friend and casting it on eachother at duel areana, but its tedious'er because you must rely on a friend who likely has different wants, need, / schedule.

Green dragonhide requires 40 range to wear, dragon slayer to wear the body, and gives less negative magic attack bonus than full iron...
