Just Wondering

I was just wondering if anyone here can give me a few tips on reporting people, especially macros. Cuz i have a pretty good idea of wat to do with macros, but i wanna see if i am missing something important to look for in their movements. And if a p-mod was here, can u say if there are macro reporting guides in mod center? I just wanna make sure im not bombing jagex with f2p macro reports that make them hate me and not even read my reports

My only tip on reporting is to keep on reporting the macros.

Keep asking them questions and if they dont answer then you can report them.

Jagex wont hate you if you keep reporting them.

They might start thinking that you're a good player and you migth even become a p-mod yourself...

Thanks for posting, and yeah i ask them questions, then i say ill give them 50 bil if they trade me, then i watch there movements. And no, I am almost sure i'll never be a p-mod, recently i think they changed it so only p2p can be mods. It used to say in guide f2p can be p-mods, now it doesnt say that. And i know ill never be a member, my parents say 1hr is too much to play for a day so thats there excuse, saying i will play longer than 1hr. And also, too many people report unwisely, bombing jagex with false reports making it hard for them to respond to mine. Out of 9 months of playing, i average macro reports especially, about 7 each day. I have never recieved one message back, thats about 1,800 people i have definetly accuratly reported, no messages back  I dont even care if i become mod, i just want some recognition for doing wat i do

If you havent recieved any messages back then dont worry.

You will probably never get any messages about macros because Jagex ban lots of Macros each day and it would waste there time sending messages back to you when they could be banning more accounts.

But if that was true(kind of believe it), and i have never ever ever broken any rules at all, and i reported all those macros i said b4, wouldnt u think they would atleast send something like i have heard other players saying, such as "Keep up the good work", or "Thank you, and please continue playing runescape fairly and reporting whenever you see a rule broken" Plus, forgot to say b4, but i have sent them more than once a list of websites i found on the web, that sell money, or give macroing scripts out. I just hope some day they finally thank me

Jagex does not have time to thank each person that reports. I have been playing for awhile and have only recieved a single notice. They said thanks for reporting somebody who threatened to hack me and then asked how to hack somebody. He was permabanned. If they thanked all of the macro-reporters that would take a lot of time away from banning those macroers. Just be happy that you are doing your part in the anti-macro fight. :D

Also, I would just like to say that the more you chase pmod status, the better your chances of it not happening. They want people who report for the sake of reporting, not people who report to become crowned.

It would be nice to be a p-mod, i would like it soo much, i would probably start leveling up like 4 times as slow. I would love to help out and get a guarantee that if i report a macro and he is macroing, i would get them banned. That would make others happy that a bit less macros are there. I would spend alot of my time world hopping reporting them. I just want to see people happy because only 1 macro is there, or even none. Plus, i would love to help out by removing a few macros by talking(newer macroing scripts have mod detection, logs them out if a mods there) and then seeing the other player happy  thats all that i want

There's probably hundreds, if not thousands, of Tip.Iters who would make good Pmods. But the fact is that Jagex make arbitary decisions based on Gods know what to choose them. So just keep on being a good Runescaper and reporting any wrongdoing which you absolutely know is a breach of the rules and maybe you'll get your wish. But if you don't, well if you get an occasional macro'er or scammer banned, be happy in the knowledge that you've made the playing experience better for yourself and the rest of us.

I have reported maybe 20 accounts in my 2 years, and had 1 message confirming a ban from Jagex. Its spitting against the wind from my own personal position, but that scammer would have had to take out a new members account to scam again, which saved newbie members at least a month (to get back to where he was) from being prey to his attacks - and I got a little satisfaction from that!

Why is 'common sense' so named, when there is so little of it about?

Welcome to puberty, we've been expecting you.
