September 24, 200619 yr Here's my idea of different chat channels. You can enter and leave channels and even create your own. Here is an example of this: The channel you are in currently is written in red. Clicking Hear All will open all channels, and you can enter multiple ones by clicking CTRL, then selecting channels. Clicking Create will send you on to this screen: That's really self-explanatory. Why the ? That brings down a list of other channels with similar names. Well... Enjoy :)
September 24, 200619 yr pointless really, we already have chat filters, no point adding another box to crowd the chat area. Why not try advancing on the public chat button instead? Skills and quests kinda pointless too.
September 24, 200619 yr this could work for clans but, we should have a clan directory in rs that gives you the symbol of that clan then when you create a chat it could be with all people who have that symbol. can work well when your doing clan events. I'll suport Ponies!

Thanks for your support, life_mage12! :) Inferno, chat channels could be used for people who only want certain messages to be viewed. Skills: For people skilling and people who want help with a skill/have a question about a skill. Quests: For people doing quests who need help/advice, or just want to discuss it. For example, the Shield of Arrav quest would be easier with this.

September 24, 200619 yr i like the pics and the idea. However this idea is completely and totally impossible to implement with todays technology. How can you get it to know wats talk about quests, wats talk about skills markets and such. There is absolutely no way. Even if you have it: if selling then market type thing, a mispelling messes it up. Good thought but the realisticness of it is not high.
