i have recently begun farming and im keeping all the crops i get. is there any use for most of the crops(besides herbs and secondary ingrediants)?

Mostly they are only useful for protecting higher crops, especially if you just spent a few hundred k on tree seeds its nice to know they will still be alive the next day. Some of them have other uses, strawberry baskets make good food (30hp in 1 spot) and you can use products to make things like tuna and sweetcorn potatoes. Or, just put them all in a compost bin and get a little bit more xp

You can sell me sweetcorns, strawberries and watermellons.

Watermelons, pineapple, etc. are used for making super compost. Just keep the things you get. :)
