Here's my first real attempt at a pixel sig.

Let me know what you think. If you've got any tips, hints, advice then please do tell me. I want to learn how to pixel draw real good. :)

First of all try to work on the design some more. Having nicely shaped figures helps a lot. For example the shape of the head of that poor guy is somehow weird. Could have taken 2 more mins to fix it...Getting greatly better results (same for eyes...nose etc..). Try to give some kind of simmetric look to the faces 2...not specular...just some kind of armony in it...else your figures will look deformed.

 

 

 

Keep it up and try some better shading next :)

Ok, I did it quickly cause I was kinda in a hurry, don't know exactly why. I also got confused as to where my light source was. :)

 

 

 

I'll make another one soon. I guess the thumb rule is practice makes perfect.

your light source is in the top right..

anyway about your sig it looks cool for a first try BUT his head which is btw the vocal point so it should be the best its to bright a color and his had is shaped weird the right eyes allot bigger then the left , same with the ears try makig the main face color less bright add more shading and ground detail

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

overall its good {there getting a bit to many pixelartist around here tho.. }
