B_50_2
No this is not a 'i was scammed'. My clan mate said this: He was buying ring of forgings, got offered 1 and he used it. It only had 1 charge left he said. Does this really happen? If anyone remembers me... PM ME. having nostaligia issues D:
apcrump
I think its 140 charges per person
rooneyrules0
I think on another ring he used all the charges except one, then got a new ring, chaand used the last charge on that? ̢̢̮ââ¬Ã¢Ã¢â∠
wurmskin
They should really put something like... Ring of Forging (140) to avoid confusions. Its really a hassle when I smith large amounts of iron :? . ^ Refresh for a new signature ^
Candymann16
no its not a scam, like recoils the amount of 'charges' a ring has depends on the person who is wearing it, he probably had used a previous ring down to its last charge, then when he put on this ring he would only get 1 use, but if the same ring was sold to someone else who had never used a ring of forging then they would still get 140 uses out of it
folmer_veeman
the 140 charges are on you, not on the ring so if you have one and smith 139, you sell it and buy a new one you can only use it once...
Doomster
Worse, if you LOSE it, you lose most of the charges from your replacement (or do you?). Of course, if losing the ring reset your charges, tricks like drop-cycling two rings between two players would be common. OK then, so reset only if you die with it and lose it? That could also be abused, by arranging to die close to your respawn point.
DarkDude
The Character itself has the number of charges, the ring DOES NOT matter. Say I smelt 130 Iron ores with the ring, then sell it and make a new ring. After 10 ores the ring I just made will break. The person I sold the ring to will be able to use the ring as many times as they have left on their character and it won't break after 10. How hard is that to understand? Raven6666
I wouldn't think that that scam would do any bad effect nowadays now, unless as mentioned above that people dont realise that charges are to the person not to the item itself. Considering the new update where you stop when your current ring is destroyed, there is only knowledge being a 100% failsafe from this 'scam.'
