When i post it says that i have only done 1 post but i have done many more than that, why does this occur?

I think i read somewhere that to update the posts you should update your profile so i have done that many times but it still says i have only done 1 post, does anyone know what i can do?

EDIT: nows it says i have done 2 posts, but i still ahve done about 10 since yesterday.

Your posts only count towards your post count depending on which boards you post in. Here's a post about which boards count and which don't. As a side note Help & Advice counts toward post count and is a good way to get it up while really helping other tipiters. ::'

You still deserve an answer...

From somewhere in the forums, I read that only in some forums does a post count toward a person's post counter that is displayed by their name. The reason for this is that in places like the "Market Place" and "Forum Games", they are auto-pruning old posts and/or wiping out what is equivalent to spammer stuff here and there, and it would make no sense to have a post count driven into the roof by that stuff.

Hope my answer helps you understand your post count a bit more. :)

(Warning: This user can be VERY confusing to some people... And talks in 3rd person for the timebeing due to how insane they are... Sometimes even to themself.)

Which forums are not included in my post count? Why not? (AKA Why isn't my post count increasing?!)
  • The following forums do not count towards your post count:
    • [*:8pa5xdmw]The market forums ([bleep]es and Splinters, Zamorak's Armoury, Robin Hood's Workshop, The Tailor Shop, The Greenhouse, Pick 'N' Apron Bazaar, Market of Saradomin, Chef's Cauldron, Falador Square and RSC Marketplace.)

      [*:8pa5xdmw]RuneScape Clan Recruitment Centre

      [*:8pa5xdmw]Clan Archives

      [*:8pa5xdmw]Player vs Player

      [*:8pa5xdmw]Graveyard

      [*:8pa5xdmw]Graveyard Discussion, Help, and Advice

      [*:8pa5xdmw]Forum Games

[*:8pa5xdmw]Rate This! (Achievements and Goals too!)

This is because many of the posts in these forums are one line, or even one word, and do not constitute "worthy" posts.

I think he meant that he thought you had to update your profile to get the numbher to change which is completely and utterly false
