Well, I want to take a shot at getting 99 fletching. I'm 88 fletching atm, with about 10-13M cash to spend. Profit would be nice, but I'm fine breaking even. I was just wanting some input on how I should go about doing this.

 

 

 

Here are a few methods I've considered;

 

A) Buying Mage logs/bowstrings, selling or alching, repeat.

 

B) Buying Yew logs/bowstrings, selling or alching, repeat. (since material cost is lower, less breaks needed. Yew is also easier than magic to buy)

 

C) Buying yew logs, cutting, selling or trading for more logs (I hate stringing).

 

D) Method A or B except trading finished product for materials.

I'm personally going with option B

 

 

 

i find that the fastest and not the easiest with all the stringing but still its not bad

I'll have to agree and say that B seems like the best option. In my opinion, stringing and alcing in massive bulk makes me want to kill myself :? But if you have the patience for it, grats dude :P

I'd personally say option D, cause alching takes quite a long time and it would speed it up much faster if you could just continuously fletch.

 

Or option B if you're gonna just sell :D

In my opinion, it's really hard to find people like that in-game. If you wanna try that, you'll prolly have to post on the RS Forums and sell in-game or something so that you can advertise as much as you can :?

Option D if you don't really want to get a profit and want 99 fletching fast.

 

 

 

For the Yew Longbows (U) I would get about 1K logs and cut them or buy the logs. Then after you make them into Yew Longbows, there is a guy in the "Robin Hood's Workshop" section who trades your Yew Longbow for a Yew Longbow (U) 70gp and a bowstring!
