October 3, 200619 yr pretty underground band right now, but i think they will be famous soon. all of their songs are so great. if anyone on here actually knows who they are, i'd be surprized. my fav songs by them are Roulette Dares and Televators. i'd recommend looking into them, they are a really good band
October 3, 200619 yr Uh? They're pretty famous, you know. De-Loused in the Comatorium and Frances the Mute are good albums and they're also pretty known throughout Europe and the US I believe. And since all vibrations are theoretically sound, then it is not unreasonable to suggest that the universe is music and should be perceived as such.
October 3, 200619 yr yes, they are quite well-known. Personally, I like At the Drive-in better, but Mars Volta is good.
October 4, 200619 yr Author oh well then good to hear that they are! i got their first album a while back. i never knew they were really popular. no one i know in south carolina knows who they are
October 4, 200619 yr As far as I know not only are they popular, they already past their "high point." Deloused was great, and people started to notice them. By the time Frances came out they were pretty famous. That was the only album I've ever went to the store and bought on the day it came out, I really liked them.
October 4, 200619 yr I actually made a topic just like this on this board awhile back. The Mars Volta may have been less popular around before Frances the Mute but nowadays their pretty popular. Any band that opens for the Red Hot Chili Peppers can't be considered underground. They've been my favorite band since I bought frances the mute a few days after it came out. Since then I've bought De-loused, FTM, Tremulant EP, and just recently Amputecture. My favorite one was FTM although my opinion may be biased considering that was the first album by them that I listened to. Amputecture (in my opinion) isn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t as good as the others but certain parts are growing on me.
October 5, 200619 yr I saw them when they opened for System of a Down. I thought they were pretty good.
October 5, 200619 yr Underground? Not really, but a great band, I like their style. "Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"
October 9, 200619 yr Yup, I've heard of them too lol \ and yea i think theyre pretty good. Very erm...artsy lol
October 9, 200619 yr they opened for the rhcp. i did not like them. i couldnt tell when one song ended and the other began. it all sounded the same
