I think I have improved on my methods and shading a lot since the last one I did. Please comment and give any advice and tips you can think of.

Unlike my first one, this pic took about 7 hours all up. I redid some of the shading many times until it looked half decent.

This is only my 2nd serious attempt at a pixel sig. Thanks.

Could use more contrast on the armour. As it's a metal type object. Its nice comprared to other people's tries.

i think it needs more contrast. much more.

you can barely se that you used 2 different colours for the skin, let alone 11, like you did use. i think 5 is the absolute max you should use, 3 could be enough. you have to dither them abit, make them blend into each other, that was they will get a different look, a more pixel look if you will, which suits this type of pic better.

so, less colours, maybe use 2 with the most difference from the normal skin colour to do the shading.

i do think this shows potential, though, hence my reply :D

My thoughts: draw the chain body ending with a merge into the skin. THAT would look sick ;)

Hmmm, that could be a little difficult.

Korla, thanks for the comment. I will keep that in mind in my next one.
