slayer assignment 175 HellHounds what do you recommend

Just been assigned 175 hellhounds.

 

 

 

I was wondering if I should range them and if a crystal bow would be worth buying for this. I have met all the requirements for crystal.

 

 

 

Have 80 attack,77 range,75 mage77 strenght and def. lvl 96.

 

 

 

I don't have the greatest armour rune plate & helm,shield, d legs, whip.

 

 

 

This is a lot of hounds to kill, so what the fastest method and maybe the least expensive.

 

 

 

Also is the members dungeon the best place for them? How many are down there and are there ranging spots.

- Room in ardy dungeon from the family crest. Put in a canon. Bring some lobs ,f ull rune with whip. And if you can afford is guthan so you can stay longer. + ranging spots

 

 

 

- Kill the hellhounds under axe hut. Like apx 5 hellhounds? Maybe more. yes on ranging spots , behind some vulcanos

 

 

 

- Don't take the one at taverly dungeon. They are mostly packed. And yes on ranging spots

I only reccomend crystal bow if you have gotten the recharge price down already. Even then, it is kind of pricy. But, it is very good range xp, so if you have the bow with a low recharge fee, go for it.

 

 

 

BTW, ardy dungeun is generally the best because in taverly dungeun it is almost ALWAYS packed.

Thanks for the info. So looks like crystal bow might be out, from what you all recommend.

 

 

 

Looks like I would need to buy guthans possibly. I have 1-2 million to spend to get this slayer up from lvl 59 to 65 so i can kill d devils.

 

 

 

Is guthans the best armour or recommend somthing else.

 

 

 

I also can fish and cook sharks.

 

 

 

Not able to make range pots yet ...so I guess I could use the new prayers...(55 prayer) for range.

 

 

 

Would a combo of range and attack be best. I have b. drag full set and range helm.

You could take a crystal and some food\guthans down to Members dungeon. I think it's the best way to kill em.

 

 

 

Don't forget to do your clues!

On the clues....are you able to hold more than 1 at a time....I was thinking you could only possess 1 at a time...either do it or drop it b4 getting another?

If you're short on budget, you can get by with magic bow. A d hally will help greatly with the special if you have one.

I just completed a 160+ hellhound assignment, using full rune and a dragon hally. Not the quickest way, but u use very little food...

 

 

 

Just take something down to bring them into your safe spot (like cheap spells or arrows, I didn't!!!) as they can drain your hit points every time u run out to hit 1...

 

 

 

I didn't find it 2 busy in the members dungeon. sometimes nice to have someone to talk 2, when u r hitting them from a safe spot...

 

 

 

If there is someone around with a cannon, hop worlds, u won't get a look in...

 

 

 

If you can't use a dragon hally, I wouldn't recommend using a rune 1 (I think it will be far 2 slow)...
