Dragon WC Axe?

Featured Replies

I was thinking of saving up for a d axe, but I'm not sure if it's worth getting. I wc a lot, but is the dragon axe that much better than rune? Thanks in advance.

The dragon axe is actually no better than rune, it's better in fighting and looks, but not in woodcutting. Notice you only require 41 woodcutting to use it, just like rune.

Currently not active on RuneScape.

Actually a recent update has increased the speed at which a dragon axe cuts.... hence the price increase up to around 3mil for them.

I'd only recommend the payment if you are very serious about wood cutting. I.E. If you have a habit of clicking a tree and NOT watching runescape, then don't get it, cause you'll cry when the head flies off, and you don't pick it up before some level 10 newb wanders by. "Homg thx u mister"

dragon axe is actually 2x faster than rune u can see it very clearly. it requires 61 wc to use. however, if u lose the head... u LOSE 3M! -.-

Quit runescape on Jan 6th of 2008, at level of 115 with around 150M worth of item in bank...however stats still remains

Well if it really is 2x faster, I'm definitely going to get one. I don't have much of a problem losing axe heads, so I think I'm good. Thanks everyone.

Dont reply to a Help+ Advice if you dont read current updates....Ive heard its 15% better, so unless your a die-hard WCer, rune is fine :)

i think its 50% faster not 100% faster. im not completly sure tho as i don't have one

iv heard if you cut like 4k at a time you dont really see a difference, but if you cut 10k or more at a time then you do see a difference. I have also heard the 15% figure.

Cut 100 willow with an addy ax. Cut 100 with rune. It is a safe bet that the difference between addy and rune is relatively close to the difference between rune and dragon. I doubt anything higher than 15%. If I wc again it will be for xp and I would gladly pay 10mil for a 15% increase. It all depends on you, though. :)
