Krempstar
Hi 8-) I am going for 65 slayer, only (yes only) because of the dust devils. :) I have 22 right now and I'm ready to go all the way to 65 for dust devils but I need some good tips or advices that will help me to get it as fast as possible. I can afford almost everything (guthans, rings etc) so that isn't a problem... So what should I do? I have just gotten my first task (got 22 slayer from quests). First task is to kill 128 hell hounds :) Should I do it in wildy or at the 'perfect' gold ores place? For family crest quest. And one thing more, what should I bring when killing enemies as hell hounds or others (except the slayer items that are needed for some monsters)? Help me out, thanks! :
Intriguing
Using a cannon would make it all much faster if you can afford to run it, but that's optional. With hellhounds, just range or hally them at the perfect gold place. If there's people there, be faster than them, or change worlds. Basically for general slaying, unless you're fighting something like abbarents or dusties, always take your guthans, lunar/dramen staff if you're using Chaeldar [you can utilise the new free spell to get to Zanaris without having to waste 1 - 3 invy spaces on runes, and you can have quick access to places like Slayer dungeon and Tower because of the Fairy Rings], and obviously your slayer gem. Good luck. Cool.
Berrakus
With Hell Hounds, I like to go to the Family Crest location and Dragon Hally them while wearing a Black Mask. Since they only drop bones and clues, you can also take some normal attack and/or strength pots (make your own or get cheap at warriors guild) to help speed things up. This trains Strength and you won't be losing much money on the assignment if you don't get any clues. (I also recommend bringing some air and mind runes to help get the hounds into position faster and safer). Dragon Drops - 10 Meds, 9 Legs, 5 Skirts, 2 Left HalfPM me to have any potions made or crafting done
Malhavok
You could kill Hellhounds in Taverly dungeon. High agility could allow for shortcut. For me I either break up long assignments with 150+ monsters. To ease monotony. I use guthans and cannon for MUCH faster and easier trips. Allows to bring less food and thus more loot gained ! BTW , the new Lumby Telly is a GOD-SEND ! Thank You Jagex ! Geaux Tigers ! Congrats on a great year !
