Crystal Bow Trick?

I heard that there was a 'trick' to keep the range bonus the same even when it deteriorates.

 

 

 

Can i have more details pls?

you have to have two cyrstal bow's when you do i'm not sure how to explain this right but you shoot 249 shots on the first bow then on the second bow you shot the 250th shot and it makes the second bow go to 9/10 and it keeps the first bow at full ands pretty much it

Be very careful here. Jagex did a massive ban process 2 days ago, many of us hit and no reason given. This "trick" you speak of is obvious a bug and would be regarded as bug abuse. I highly doubt you want to take the risk of using this bug just to have your account banned because you abuse from this. Don't take useless risks when you know you don't have to, just accept the lower and lower bonus and recharge the bow.

1. As far as i recall, some1 emailed jagex about it, and they said it was ok.

 

 

 

2. It isnt a bug, its a technical side effect because the number of shots you fired with c bow is attached to your character, not the bow, so it has no way of distinguish between 2 different c bows, all it knows is that you are holding a cbow and it degrades the bow you are holding if you fire 250 shots with a c bow.
