My account means alot to me. I was training mining to 85, managed to get to 78. Now all that has gone and i have to starts from scratch. I had decent enough skills and i was fairly rich. Now all that has gone for soem dodgy glitch or something.

I really don't think there's any need to 'campaign' about it..

 

 

 

Jagex have either expereinced a bug, or they've gone barking mad.

I think there is a reason to campaign abotu it. ecause, so many people have been banned, and if it is a bug, then why havn't they said so? Its getting pathetic now where they are not answering back our e-mails and banning us for NO reason!

 

 

 

What if you got banned? Would you be happy? No, you'd want to do something about it, and i'm trying to help all thsoe victims to show other people how mad we are and what our accounts me to us!

It's totally understandable being angry.

 

 

 

But if it is a bug then it's not really Jagex's fault. And the reason for not announcing what is happening I would think, is because matters between Jagex and a user is just between them.

 

 

 

I'm sure they're working extra hard to answer all the people whom have been affected by this problem.

there probaly not offically announcing it to avoid password scammers/keyloggers and such. if they did now would be the best time then ever to send email out to peoples inbox saying stuff like "to reactivate your account click [insert keylogged link] and such. just a thought tho

All i can say about this fault or error, is pointless. If it isn't a fault or error, then why are we banned? I bet half the people didn't do anything. But i may know the reason why Jagex are not overturnign to ban's. As other players got banned for REAL things, they may un-ban the wrong people. So while we are annoyed that our accounts are being deleted, they may be trying to figure out who done what. Just my opinion :D

It's not for no reason. Just yesterday a guy posted a topic about this and he stated he has used a macro before. i seen this with a few other people too. So it's likely another huge banning for autoers or something. The chances of a bug causing just a few accounts to be banned isn't likely to happen. And less complaining now, it's just a game. If you knew you did nothing wrong, send an appeal

To everyone that this did happen too, make sure you do send in a query to customer service like Shane suggested, whatever this glitch is, they can't make sure they helped everyone if they don't know you've been affected.

 

 

 

Second, the reason they can't just give it back right away, is that they are probably trying to fix whatever happened so it doesn't happen again. It's gonna take time to do that and to go through all the CS reports. Plus they have to check to make sure that the report isn't from players that were banned for good reason and trying to take advantage of this to get their account back.

 

 

 

Sorry it happened to you, but just give them some time to get things sorted properly and you'll be back in no time.

I recieved great and VERY reliable news. Everyone who has perm mute or perm banned for a reason which they do not know, and which there was no appeal, just be patient. There is no mass ban and each case is being investigated. How to get your case invesgtiated? send in a customer service complaint since you have no appeal. I don't understand why some people are posting here when they have an appeal, this is for people who were banned without an appeal, and for no reason to their knowlege.
