October 12, 200619 yr Well, this my first story. Hope you like it! Chapter 1 At 24000 feet, there is no ground. Just an endless blue void, as far as the eye can see. I was sitting in the hot seat of a small, unarmed F-5E training aircraft, flying trail position in my squadron. Ahead of me were my buddies, callsigns Cipher, Pixy, Mobius and Wizard. Ahead of us all was our captain, Captain Bartlett. My name is Dom Rhodes, callsign Galm. "Galm, you are cleared for takeoff." "Roger, control tower.Taking off." I put my hand on the engine control lever and pushed forward. My body shook as the engines behind me powered up. Soon, I was moving down the runway at 10, 20, 30 miles per hour. I pushed the lever fully forward, and the engines went full power. I could imagine both engines, lighting up behind me with a blue glow. Now, I was roaring down the runway at 180 miles per hour, engines blazing. I took a hold of the control stick and pulled it towards me. The plane soared up into the air, blue sky filling the canopy's view. My ears popped as the plane roared up. Once I got to 1000 feet, the radio crackled. "Galm, takeoff complete, altitude restrictions canceled." "Roger, control tower." I said as I pushed the landing gear control button. I felt the landing gear retract into the fuselage underneath me. I made one last check on all systems, and went to catch up with the rest of my squadron. This chapter isn't done yet, I gotta go to bed. Will type rest of it tomorrow. P.S. It may sound a little dry and slow right now, but it gets faster towards the end. P.S.S. Why does the post count under my avatar stay at zero? I've made at least 5.. :|

October 12, 200619 yr fighter pilots rock! always wanted to fly and f14 when i was little... well they arent in service any more so i kinda lost the interest. But lol, when i started playin rs back in 2004, my life consisted of Runescape and Fighter Pilots... and at times those two lives blended together - my main aragorn f14 my mage legolas f14 You see what i mean?
