Do something like woodcutting, mining, or fishing. They seem to work.

Cool.

i got one during combat...

certain random events are "rarer" then others, and this seems to be one of the rarer ones; just do wut normally do and wait.

Lol you realize that I've dropped herbs and eaten sharks to make room for potato seeds? You shall never have my precious tater seeds...

Unfortunately random events are random! You have no control over what you get. I am lvl 100 and have NEVER gotten 1 single Drill event.

But you can help yourself GET random events. Get a stopwatch or similiar timer and set for 20 mins.

Set you private chat to OFF and do something that requires little clicking to do. i.e. fishing, woodcutting, fighting low level monsters that you don't have to eat food on or stealing from chest. Do this for 20 mins then alch something. It seems to trigger a macro warning in the game and triggers a random event. I guarantee this like 99.99%.

They have a few guides for this, if you can search for them, that explain in better detail.
