digitalstick
I've been training my range to 70 and now i'm going for level 80. During that time, i've trained on lessers, moss giants/red spiders, and currently on ice giants (i'm F2P). i'm wondering which one of these spots actually gives more xp to ranged (i don't care about loot or xp for any other skills). Goobore
I've been training my range to 70 and now i'm going for level 80. During that time, i've trained on lessers, moss giants/red spiders, and currently on ice giants (i'm F2P). i'm wondering which one of these spots actually gives more xp to ranged.. Well, obviously the Lesser since it has the most HP. Range exp is earned as HitDone*4 Btw, ranging in "Long Range" style splits that exp with Defense. But I suspect that you meant to ask "What is the best place to raise my range from 70 to 80?" Since most ranging is done from safe spots the choice of a monster to hunt comes down to things like: availability, loot, distance from a bank, respawn time, etc. I always liked ranging the 2 lessers on the top of Crandor Island. They are almost always available and there are safe spots to the North and East of their wander area. If you want to be efficient and safe, then cast a Curse on your target first. That will cause the monster to walk over to you and stand just outside of your safe spot. Then, and only then, start to shoot it. That way, you will never get hit by the monster (so you don't need to bring any food), and all of your pickup-able arrows are in the monster loot pile. I used to train for days at a time and never leave that island. Btw, it will take you about 16,440 Bronze arrows or 16,270 Iron arrows to reach level 80. Hope this helps
