October 13, 200619 yr if you read the quest guide you put a mushroom into the mine cart.. after the cart got to the end it told you to go down and get the mushroom out of the cart..that will be your light source

October 14, 200619 yr The fungi has to ride in the cart to the end point where you pick it up. You cannot carry it with you as you have to go outside, and it dies in the sunlight. Geaux Tigers ! Congrats on a great year !
