Bank (pretty messy and poor but it'll do) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hello, fellow Scapers! I have finally decided to go for the ultimate prize of the game; the nice glowing, moving Fire Cape :) And not that it's only beautiful, it has some good stats too. So I have been preparing for this thing for the last 2 weeks; I made Super Restores(got enough farming and herblore level and then I grew Snapdragons myself), got someone to make me Saradomin Brews, bought the equipment, trained my ranged a bit(well, just one level; from 83 to 84 ^-^), read a few Fight Caves guides, downloaded and watched Muggiwhplars' movies(thanks a lot dude, your guide owns :)) And today I finally felt ready(and had enough time) to go for it. In the morning I logged into world 2 and bought Veracs helm& skirt and Karils top, then i went directly to Tzhaar city. I prepared my inventory and everything and I was ready to go! Or maybe not. I actually remembered to go to the toilet and make myself something to eat and grab a glass of milk(\) :) I also did some things for my mohther and then I was really ready. I drank a dose of Ranging, Super Restore and Sara Brew pot and took full pots of of the bank and went in. The first 14 waves went without a problem, it went really good. I used prayer on 90s, sometimes I even forgot to turn it on, but they didn't hurt me at all! The next 16 waves were really refreshing as I could AFK for a bit while ranging 180s from safe spots and it really went great! They haven't even touched me! When 360s came, I had some problems. At first I forgot to turn on the prayer and in the matter of seconds I was left with 12 hp! I quickly turned the prayer on and drank a few Sara brews to heal and I was back to buissiness. Until wave 53 everything was fine, but then I had to deal with 360s, 180s AND 90s. I had some problems killing 90s while trying to get 180s somewhere where they couldn't get me. Used a few doses of Sara Brew here, but I wasn't near death. AT wave 58 my mother started to tell me to go off, that I have been on enough and I need to study. I said I'm almost at the end and I really was. Happily dealing with wave 59 when a note appeared in bottom left corner... System update!!! I went totally mad... Started swearing at computer and banging on the table. Was too slow to log out at the end of wave 59 and so I was furiously killing wave 60 to get to the end and I could continue after the update. When the last 180 was on like 10hp it logged me out... Now I have to wait for another week to face Jad at last, as I only have enough time on Saturdays... And why did they even do a system update on Saturday??? For a stinking world 126!!!! I spent two hours of my life for nothing and got a lousy world 126!!! That really pissed me off. I calmed down in a few minutes and thinking of revenge. Fight caves, I WILL come back and defeat your master TzTok-Jad! I will get the cape! One day. I am currently ill and since I cannot do anything else(argh, I so hate being sick :S) I decided to try for the fire cape again; my mother went somewhere for two days(yaay!) and fother and brother were on ski jumping training. I was doing really good actually. Better than first time :) I only had to drink sara brew 2 times; once when I accidentally range protected instead mage and 360 hit me 30 something :P and the second time when jad came, just to get def bonus :D I faced jad for the first time today! I think I did pretty well, I didn't have much problems switching prayer since the animaton comes a lot before the actual attack :) He only hit me one time for about 20 but I quickly came back to routine. When he had just a bit more than half hp I accidentally clicked protection from ranged twice and BAM!! 75! And I was dead. But that didn't get me down! I will still try to get the cape. Actually I will try again tomorrow, since my father& brother are going to training again :D Before I go in again I will get 94 def, since I'm only 53k till level. I shall get that fast because i cheat(using Pest Control :S). Now, here are my stats: I only got one ranged level/with pest control -.-) since the last weekend as I wasn't on much :P If you want to giv me advice on my skills feel free to, but keep this fact in mind: I will not raise Construction, unless a blue Party hat falls from the sky! Ok, i might use Tears of Guthix to get some exp but otherwise not. This is my BANK. It is pretty messy and poor, but at least it is something ^^ Plus a picture from a "Dagganoth Kings trip" with my friend. He said that if you go directly to the safe spot the ranger won't hit you anymore. We went in, got to the spot, started maging rex, but something was hiting us hard. I looked what was and realised that it was the ranger :P We killed rex and my friend was quiet for some time, then he ran to pick the item and said: "Zerker!!!!!!" We killed quite a few of these dudes before and this was our first valuable items from them :) (We sold it for 2.6M and shared 50:50) Thanks for reading and keep comming, new chapter is comming out tomorrow. :boohoo: "Happines only real when shared." gago Posted October 20, 2006 Author Share Posted October 20, 2006 I just got 88 strength and 112 combat with it and now I am ready(two hours earlier) for another fire cape try! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I'm just done with my third attempt and unfortunately i failed again :( It was going very good, but when I killed the last 360 and wanted to get to that "safe spot" so I could pot, I was standing too much east(by one square :S) and Jad came directly to me. Hit me around 60 and I quickly turned prayer back on. It went ok till I tried to drink a sara brew. I did so and quickly tried to put prayer to ranged but I was too slow... He hit me 20 something and I died again :( I probably won't be going in there for a while now, because I won't have time :S Next weekend maybe... I will post all achievements and such in this topic and your job is to keep it alive :P Thanks ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I went killing cave horrors to get a black mask which I sold a while ago(well I had two :P) and got a clue :) Unfortunately I didn't get the mask. Thanks for posting :D Today I have achieved a small goal of mine, which I actually wanted to get with 51 Construcion, but was too lazy to go to Guthix tears cave :D Instead I got it with 88 magic, while maging Iron(and a few Steel) Dragons with fire bolts(had 15k chaos runes, which I wanted to get rid of; already spent around half of them but got no dragon items yet :() Here's the pic: My priority goal is still to get fire cape, then next; 99 firemaking& defence! :boohoo: "Happines only real when shared." I'm back :D Since I'm not allowed to go on comp much(school :S) I wasn't on much and I didn't get any levels/drops or tried to get fire cape again. I trained slayer a little, went on a few dk trips(nothing) and enjoyed playing :) I also did around 20-30 trips to Kalphite Queen with my friends but we didn't get Dragon chain(or any other dragon drop). That is 100-110 dry streak at KQ for me :( I also did a few barrows trips(15-20) but didn't get a single item. Not even bolt racks...! At least I got some blood and chaos runes, but I went down with number of deaths and minds. I've decided to train slayer some more and so I went killing Black Demons. Killed around 30 and realised I'm missing something important. Black mask. I had 2 but sold both like two months ago :P Went killing Cave Horrors, but they weren't good with me. I had to do two long trips to get one mask -.- (also got two clues; first was total junk, second was: Rune plate, Guthix skirt, Rune large, some cash). With the new mask I went back to Black Demons, killed a few and bam! Someone else came killing them. I said "blah!" to myself and switched world(and another). Killed 5 Black Demons on this world and BAM! I got Dragon medium ;) Something decent at last :P I'm going off now but I shall come back to get some more red junk ^^ :boohoo: "Happines only real when shared." gago Posted November 8, 2006 Author Share Posted November 8, 2006 Haven't been much on comp for the last 4 days, but it was enough to get some exp for 79 slayer :) My goal for 80 is almost complete ^_^ Weel, around 190k till 80 :S It is surely going to take a while :wall: Going straight for 80 now, but I will get 95 Defence and 93 Hitpoints before Slayer level. Last task I had were turoths and I went killing them as i wanted to get a white mystic bottom. Did like 1/4 of the task and got the clue. Went to solve it but I got junk(rune long, some runes and sharks). I went back and I quickly got a white mystic bottom and shortly after that 93 Hitpoints level(which I missed because of a MSN conversation). On almost the last Turoth I got another clue. Went to solve it after the task and got this: That is the best clue in last few months. Now I have Gargoyles for the task. Meanwhile I got 88 Attack and 113 combat with it :) Planning to get 80 Slayer today and go kill some Nechyraels after that to get a pair or two of Rune Boots. And then it's time for some skilling.
