OK, im at the bit where i can climb the trellis of the back of the mansion. Ive cleared the rat in the bedroom, but now i need to get the ones in the 'spare room'. However i just cant figure out how to get past the guards. they seem to see me from absurd positions.

 

frankly, the tip.it guide is appaling, at least in this section it is, so i need a walkthrough for this little bit if anyone has one?

Time and patience is key. Wait for BOTH of the guards to be in one room (preferably the porch where the trellis is) then sneak in.

but theyre never in the same room!!! theres always one in the hallway/room with trellises, and one in the bit with the stairs. And even in if the one in the stair room is on the side side, looking away i cant sneak by....

I know it is very frustrating, but the guards do have a slightly different movement pattern. Tou have to be very patient, and eventually they will get onto that porch at the same time.

 

 

 

The problem is that the pattern gets slightly changed every time that you get caught, so it can lead to you just missing the time when they would have come together.
