make money smithing?

well i was wondering if there is a way to make money smithing and smelting mithril??well i want xp for free basically and i dont want to spend money on it

well if you mine your own ores and make stuff of course youll make money, but thats really slow. what i did is buy 2k coal and 1k iron for 400-500k total then make steel bars and sell for 550k-600k. or if your a member make them into cannon balls and sell them for 180-200ea.

My carbon footprint is bigger than yours...and you know what they say about big feet.

i buy iron ore and make iron bars and then make iron knives. You make money while doing it.

Smelting bars is the only way to do it until you can make rune stuff, just buy ores for steel or mith and smelt away. Mith is the fastest smelting exp, because you can do 5 mith bars and a steel bar per trip to the furnace. So just buy coal, mith, and iron ores, and smelt away. Your profits will be small, but you won't lose any money, and you can sell the bars to buy more to keep the cycle going for more smithing exp.

 

 

 

Mining your own ores is NOT a way to make money smithing. The profit there comes from mining.
