Astralinre
This was inspried by Nadril and Ryan's abstract landscape. I liked it so much, I decided to do one of my own. Personally, I don't think this one turned out that great, but it's an interesting concept that I'll keep working on. I'll post any other attempts I make on this thread too. C/C appreciated. Edit: #2 try. I think this one is much better. "In so far as I am Man I am the chief of creatures. In so far as I am a man I am the chief of sinners." - G.K. eissob
yes interessting, not too bad. But you maybe try and blend the abstract and the landscape together. The abstract is now just sort of a transperancy layer over the landscape. Nice try.
Nadril
not bad :P what i would recomend is more of a blend, and i find that tori abstracts don't blend well with landscapes :D try and use a sharper abstract, and maybe just not have a huge transparancy of an abstract over landscape :D
Astralinre
Thanks for the advice. :) Here's my second try. I think it turned out much better than the first. vladmoney
Hum i am not a big fan of both, but thats because thats not how i see the ideal abstract-landscape. I personally think you made the abstract to vissble and not fitted into the landscape as much as you could have. When i do landscape abstract i use the absract as more of a texturizer then just abstract in the middle of the landscpae. If you get my drift.......... the renders are good btw, its just my own lack of view Visit my DeviantArt Page at http://vladmoney.deviantart.com

Not
I like the Second one because it is more in line with my tastes. Don't get me wrong I love when people try new things, but the blur effect on the landscape doesn't seem to work on the first one, it really makes it to hard on the eyes tolook at it. 8.75/10 on the second one though!
unknownmasterofnothing
Yea I think it needs to blend more with the landscape. Maybe enough so you can see both abstract and landscape. But not clearly.
