I just started again and was lent 2m. What would be the most effiecient thing to merchant with 2m?

Don't merchant, use skills. Merchanting is a waste of time, but I guess you could do runes or something like that.

I would say go down to the price check list and look for stuff that has a large variance between the low and high sale prices. Hopefully you have a knack for merchanting. If not your best bet would be to take evil eye's suggestion and skill your way up.
