Sirgatory Posted November 5, 2006 Share Posted November 5, 2006 to Range metal dragons? I'm on the road to 99 range, and I've sworn to do no combat skill but range. I am not using ANY melee weapons until 99. So i've been wondering, since I love metal dragons so much, is it possible to range the metal dragons with a bow? I would use dragonhide armor, adamant arrows, and antifire potions. Prayer potions if necessary. So basically, can i range them using dragonhide, bow&arrows, protect from mage, and antifire doses? When i mage, using hsield, and my pot runs out, i get hit a few 3s 2s and 1s before drinking another dose. Never tried pots but no shield. Sirgatory Posted November 5, 2006 Author Share Posted November 5, 2006 Well I've just tested it, the effect of the potion does NOT work without the shield when fighting metal dragons. I used mage pray + antifire potion with mage bow, got hit for a 35 2x in a row. However, these are very easy to range with a high range level lolz :D using iron knives and a range pot at 93 range I kill quicker than the mages with fire bolt do.
