  1. Think about it, everyone. Jagex just opened up their chest to reveal the worst treasure their players could find. What is to come of it? Everyone is ranting, and they know it. Will they continue with this? Rollback? Change it back tomorrow? No one is looking to the bright side. it's all about rants. By the end of the week, we may see the largest decline of income for Java Gaming Experts, our oh-so important game company. What has brought them to make such a drastic, negative change? My prediction is that there is a bigger plan, one that i haven't seen expressed yet. Think about it. By January, there will be no way to effectively gain real world currency for RuneScape material. There will also be a very little amount of consistant players. What if Jagex only did this to scare off the RWTers for good? What if, once they notice the amount of honest gameplay, they can change it back? Maybe it's just a time out for us players, until they can correct their system. This could be their way of taking out the "bugs" in the "system" without turning it off temporarily. Once it is all fixed and cleaned, they can "re-open" their premium features. Sure, it is likely that it will not happen, but it is a different take on the subject, and it's what I believe. With that, I will not stop playing RuneScape totally, hoping by my birthday in march that we will have our old system back. If not by then, It's game over. But for now I will instate my prediction in my mind, and give JaGEx another chance.

  4. The subject in bold is the only update we have not gotten yet, since the release of RS2. This excerpt and list is from the 21st page of the runescape updates archive. Do you think it could be Randomly generated team scenarios, as mentioned above?
  5. your best bets in my opinion - aviansies. as much as you don't like to go to them, they are the fastest source of stable income that you can get, as long as you have good range and good prayer or defense. OTHERWISE, the quickest way to get any GS - Fight one of the bosses themselves. I suggest bandos or zammy, as they are the easiest. Get the hilt, sell a few of your 26 million in items, buy the blade and attach. it's the quickest way, and it will only cost you 5-6 million(price of blade included), less if you are lucky.
  6. good job on the fire cape, i have never had a desire for one myself. 4/10 for the outfit, strength is too overrated, and everyone goes for the same un-original outfit like that.
  7. I do, i can't stand melee. my reasons why are for another time..but yeah. I have 3rd age for now...will upgrade to armadyl when i can.
  8. Many high levels can't afford veracs or other high level armour and weapons. Don't mistake combat level with wealth, they are very much so different things and don't always come together in high ammounts. Or of course people just don't wish to risk losing their verac helm, which can cost you a decent amount. he is very much right^ I am level 110 and up until a week ago i could not afford more than a whip. I was just never luck with money, and i never focused on gaining it. Last week though, my wealth changed after getting an armadyl hilt..but that's besides the point
  9. Alright hello, i'll start off by saying i'm 99 range, and achieved so on january 7, 2006. Lately, with all of the combat updates, i am being swayed every which way on what to do. My personal favorite has always been black dragon hide armor, ever since the release of RS2, when I became fond of range since it wasn't a green dot anymore :P but as it happens, technology will always be updated and outdated. Black dragonhide has lost it's respect since it's release ialong with the second version of RuneScape, as everyone has to get 70 range for their runescape career to be at least partially complete. So down to the subject, after being rewarded with an armadyl hilt from the god wars dungeon boss, I have 40m cash to blow from my share. I want a nice looking, crowd swaying range armor that I can afford. I have looked at 3rd age top and bottom, which is currently my top choice. The only con is, it has the same melee bonus as black dragonhide. This will not help me if i want it to be my primary armor in CW(which is where i like to spend my time on rs) Secondly, I was looing at armadyl plate and legs, though i am not sure if i have enough. On a girl character, it didn't look too nice either. Does it look any better on a guy? 3rd, I already have some guthix dragonhide, and a ranger set and fury. they all look nice, but i dont need recommendations on them. Down to my question - what ranged armor do you recommend that looks out of the ordinary and performs partially well(better than black d hide) against melee? It can be combinations of armor..like torags and karils..i don't care. I just want opinions. :)
  10. there are at least 500 blues if not closer to 1000 Yes, around 750 would be a nice estimate. Remember ego, we've been playing while you haven't, and seen what you have not over the past years. And i wasn't saying who was the richest, just the few richest merchants at the time.
  11. Ah, I remember you! You, duke freedom, r2_pleasant, and unleash1 basically owned the rares market back in the day. I remember being around level 80 at one point and saw you with full dragon and some other items that were the most expensive at the time, when you were the same level as me. I almost quit right then and there because i was so mad that i only had 2 million, and you had around 1B worth, even at the prices of rares back then. Now, even 2 party sets is worth well over 2.5 billion. Also glad to see you came back, that makes 1 of the 4 still in power :P
  12. It was just the hilt, we weren't able to wield it. And we sure weren't going to waste any time buying the other parts of it just to sell it again :D
  13. I am working on 90+ smithing with it. ^ But keeping the santa.
  14. 10th-sh noteable person to get a robin hood hat from clue, sold for 4m and bought a purple partyhat when they were still that low. Although merchanting is lame, you have a point. Though personally i'd spend it on a skill that will be more profitable at a higher level. Why on earth is Merchanting lame..? In my OPINION, standing on the same spot just repetitively typing 'selling lalalala' and 'buying lalalala' for hours on end to make a bit of pixelated cash is kind of pointless, and otherwise wasting time that could be spent socialising and having fun outside in the real world. +1 +2, although I have always put having fun in runescape and enjoying my time on the game above all else. Killing high level enemies has always been a favorite for me, and i will continue to keep doing it. Standing in world 2 for hours on end is not my idea of a good time, as I go for fun over [no lifing pixels] - no offense to anyone that does it, we all have our viewpoints and motives. Thanks for the rates, keep em coming :) And i'm just now starting to realize how rare that drop is, hah
