Do you mean the regular secateurs or the green ones that you see others carry?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The green ones are available upon completion of the Fairy quest and give you a 10% bonus yield from allotments.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The regular secateurs are only useful for trimming diseased plants and that's pretty much about all.

The secateurs are also used for pruning trees to get branches, like in the new quest.
