flamable20
I recently started to range and im now at lvl 10 ranged. I just want to know what some good training spots for this. I plan on getting it to at least 40. I tried monks but they arent very good. Monks i find are better for melee. Also, what is the best ammy for this skill. I'm curently using a power ammy. Uh...one more thing, what are some good like...equipment for this. (type of arrows, type or bow, type of armor etc...) Please comment :ohnoes: P.S. I'm F2P  Flamable 20 8-) http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/3192/w ... ildxm7.png[/img]
nerdattack16
I got ranged from 10 to 40 purely in the Blue Moon Inn in south Varrock. Plenty of men and a barbarian, but can get a bit crowded at times. Goblins work well, then safing guards at 25-30 ranged works well. Just get the best bow and armor you can when you can. Willow @ level 20, maple @ level 30. Studded @ 20, studded body @ 20 + 20 defence. Coif at 20 or 30. Dragonhide at 40! Irons/bronze arrows are good. Cheap and effective. Oh, and power ammy is great. full_metal
Best equipment would be: leather vambraces til 40 then green dhide vambraces leather chaps till 20 then studded chaps til 40 then green dhide chaps leather body (hardleather with 10 def and range, studded body with 20 defence and range, and green dhide body with 40 defence and range [and dragon slayer quest completed]) leather cowl til 20 then coif oak bow til 20 then willow bow til 30 then maple bow Iron arrows are the best for training (addy for pking) http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=range ... .htm#spots check here for ranging spots and recomend levels along with additional information. ^Click for the greatest sig maker ever!If you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature. DegenerateX
Minotaurs withut a doubt. You can range them in the Security Stronghold behind a fence so you don't get hit and they drop tons of iron arrws. NJE03
I'm training ranged to 90 and i've tested a few places: a)Varrock sewers-Moss giants are good when it's not crowded but it usually is, spiders require a lot of running around to collect arrows b)The lesser demons are ok either under karamja or on crandor. Slightly slower xp than moss giants but usually empty with 2 demons to yourself ontop of crandor c)Ice giants are ok, but way too many people there normally that are only after giants, which slows you up d)ankous have pretty high def, but nobody's ever there. Half safe spot at level 70 something ankous and 3/4 safe spot at the level 82 ankous. e)Mossys on crandor is the best for quick xp if it's not crowded. There's no safespot but they don't do much damage. all the other ones aren't as good, maybe the guards outside black knight fortress or black knights but i've never tried. Pikcing up your arrows lets you get considerbly more xp than if you dont. And btw, nice stats for F2P
Updated December 22, 2011: Total level - 1442 - 170M+ XP , Combat level - 115Combat skills: Attack - 90, Defence - 99 (24.45m+ XP), Strength - 90, Constitution - 99 (16.42M+ XP) Ranged - 99 (13.32M+ XP), Prayer - 60, Magic - 99 (13.25M+ XP)Non-Combat skills: Cooking - 99 (13.80M+ XP), Woodcutting - 99 (31.95M+ XP), Fishing - 90, Firemaking - 99 (24.82M+), Crafting - 90, Smithing - 90, Mining - 85, Runecrafting - 60, Dungeoneering -
