fastest fishing xp~F2P~

Featured Replies

Hi,

I was wondering what the fastest fishing xp would be on f2p. What should I fish, and where. I would also like to make a reasonable ammout of money. I can catch anything in f2p, so that is not an issue. Plus I'm working on 99 cooking. So if cooking is also not an issue although I'd still cook the fish probably, what would be the fastest xp and about how much does that fish sell for cooked and uncooked each? thanks!

Well, if you want money, then I would say lobs but then again in F2P they're harder to get too fast.

So I'd reccomend fly fishing in Barb vill for fast experience and cooking, you can also get a fair amount of gold from it too.

I know that when I was pushing to get my cooking from the high 50s up to 68, I was looking desperately for raw trout and salmon, but found it very difficult to find.

I ended up paying about 75 each for 8K raw trout.

You can make fairly decent money if you patiently lurk on the RS official forums ("Marketplace-->Food"). Granted, you can't post, but just wait until someone posts in desperation and then send them a PM.

In F2P, you'll catch 3-4 trout/salmon for every lobby the lobby fishers catch, which on a per/hour basis should be more money if you're a patient seller.

Just go with Swordfish and Tuna, and fish on the Island Of Karamja.

Sell Tuna to General Store to fund your trips, and Bank the Swordfish in Draynor.

Swordfish, if you're patient, can sell for up to 500 gp ea. Never sell for less than 330 ea.

From all that work, you will be both rich in money and in fishing & cooking levels. 8-)

Your best option would be to level fishing and raise cash independently.

Lets say you fish lobs and get (totally random number) 10k xp an hour and 50k an hour. Fishing trout/salmon is easily double the xp so that means you will send half as long training it. Take all of that time and run airs for 150kish an hour on world 16 and you will end up with the same amount of time spent, the same amount of xp gained, and somewhere around 3 times the cash.

In almost all situations you will be more efficient by raising your xp in the fastest manner (fly fishing in barb, cooking, and dropping/donating/banking if you must) and raising cash in the fastest manner seperatly. I am fishing shark until I get a big one and then never touching them again. Most of my levels are from fly fishing in shilo and barb. The rest is monks.
