Shade burning

Burning mage pyre logs, about how common are level 3 clues?

And on average, how much are the rewards per key worth?

Lvl 3 clues are rare, no one has exact numbers on how rare.

They are given put randomly.

But generally, 1 clue every 5 loads of shades, or what?

I know that there are no exact numbers and that its random, but on average how common are they?

I've never seen any statistics on this. My gut feeling is that are roughly as rare as they are as monster drops. That means I know I have opened over 200 silver chests in a row without a clue, but also that I have had 2-3 clues for that amount of chests.

Regarding rewards. Worst thing you will find is a black spear I think. Then you can get mithril plates, addy large helm, shield, skirt, legs, plate, rune swords, rune med. Noted yew or magic logs, blood runes, death runes, flametear hammer, and clue of course. And do remember to click on the message "you find some treasure" - to find swamp paste at the bottom of the chest. Free swamp paste is worth a lot if you plan to go back to temple building, and *that* is good crafting exp.

Dont ask me about numbers. I dont keep track of that :P

Please think before you ask a question. If you ask the right question, its much more likely you get the answer you are looking for :)
