Can you be banned for telling some1 to go to hell because "its offensive 2 some1s religion"?

If it's a crude recognised swear word then yes it is against the rules.

Well there was 2 guys standing there, 1 said go to hell to the other 1. and he said offensive 2 religion...

If the word itself is offensive ONLY to a religion, then theres no harm.

But I just dont undersand why the "h" word is even offensive...how's it offensive (unless your a 6 year old in bible school)

Everything Jagex consider offensive is already on the censor list and is starred out as a result.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The only way you'd really break the rules is if it's clear you're intending to cause insult or creatively attempting to circumvent the censor (by using control characters and numbers etc...)

How could you quote Ron Weasly without it. Seeing that Runscape is based in England, it would be offensive to all the HP fans if those words were censor. Okay, maybe not but.... :P

but i agree with swazman, back in rsc you couldn't say hell (but there was a hellhound monster)

it won't b offensive if u didn't try to spell some word that r not blocked by the offensive word block. and if u r not cursing anybody it wont b. and what you just did to that guy is completely fine. even if they mute u, just appeal, im sure they will unmute u since its nothin..
