My stats are 39 attack, 34 hp, 31 strenght, 26 defense, and 30 prayer. Combat 41. Steel armor and weapons. Is that enough for Dragon Slayer? If not, what do I need to raise? What is better, lobbies or chocolate cake? Thx for the help.

Get your Defense up to at least 30 before you try, personally I think your Combat Level is a bit too low to do it well.

I did it with combat lvl 44, full steel and an addy pick... i killed him.

Anti-dragon shield is, of course, a must.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I've had friends try with Full Rune (chainbody not plate) and fail, and others do it easily in Mithril.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sometimes the ball bounces your way, you hit well and Elvarg hits poorly. Other times, the opposite happens.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Try it in full steel and see. Be prepared to die though.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I think anything less than full addy, rune weapon, potions, and at least an inventory of lobbies is quite risky. Swordies are better than lobbies, of course.

Can I break down the door before I kill the dragon? I'm a lvl 43 now.

I did Dragon Slayer with mithril armor and an addy longsword at level 51 combat. I had a full inventory of swordies and I didn't need all of them.

i think you should get your attack to 40 and buy a rune weapon before attempting it. Using a steel weapon....not too sure how well that will work.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

However, my brother did do it at lvl 51 with a rune baxe and full mith at a lvl 25 def and slaughtered the dragon using only 3 lobs.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So basically i think that if you have a high enough attack and a reasonable strength with enough food you should be able to do it easily.

If you have an inventory of lobbies at you current level you should be able to do it, even in full steel. IF you have a question weather or not you could do it, I suggest you open door, than try and see if you can or not.
