  1. Whatever that's the nearest and fits. And as long as it isn't pink. Most of my stuff is dark, anyways.
  2. What Combat Weaponry Are You? My Results: Stg-77 Aug Light weight and agile you fight as though you have something to prove. Speed and agility are your strong points. You can scrap with the big dogs though they tire you out quicker.
  3. Hum...I'm another "None of the above" I'm one of those "Single for life"s. However, I am very tolerant of other people as long as it doesn't involve me. To me it doesn't matter. As long as no one tries to flirt with me.
  4. Not exactly a building, but it's pretty awesome, isn't it?
  5. I would like to point out that in the Bible it is okay to own slaves, and (for guys) to stone your wife to death if she wasn't a virgin on the wedding day. Err....end of Hollywood?
  6. Hum...programming by day, designing random robots by night, and attempting to finish my novel whenever I have spare time.
  7. I can do it, just give me about two and a half weeks to do Internet research. Just kidding. I have no clue how those things work, although I do know someone who can do it in less than two minutes. Someday, I'm going to have to search down one of those five-by-five-by-five cubes.
  8. It's not actually worse today, it just seemed worse. Back in the "good ol' days", people had no clue what was going on. Information didn't travel nearly as fast. Back then, people didn't know about hurricanes across the country.
  9. One law I hope that needs to be passed is that there should be a warning on anything with any type of drug in it, and also make it illegal to give someone a drug without their consent and knowledge. Me? I'm anti-drug to the max, actually bothering to read the ingredients not accepting any beverage that wasn't opened under my eyes, unless I can't (restaurants). Quite a few of my friends drink, but I'd made it clear that I'd stay drug free, for life. And honestly, banning drugs didn't seem to do much good. What would actually do good: informing people about the dangers of drugs and helping them make the choice not to do drugs. I do agree with constraint laws, you cannot do drugs in certain areas. Second hand smoke is a major problem, and this will help solve it. Ditto with the "No drinking and driving laws". Some of us who do not do drugs have our lives affected in very negative ways by the ones who do. So final words: Yeah, it's bad for you, but making it illegal didn't do much. However, legalizing isn't going to fix anything. Informing people about drugs is a far better campaign. Or maybe slowly banning tobacco and alcohol. As in "IF you were born after *some year after 2007*, you cannot use tobacco or alcohol" I'm sorry if I didn't make sense. I'm attempting to do my homework, and I keep losing my train of thought. LAG!!!!!!!
  10. It doesn't let you omit questions, it just shows you that page again with the omited question in red type.
  11. Guess what? Doesn't matter if people like it or not, we are going to have to start recycling water soon. Or else. The facts: We have 20 years of clean water left. And in 15 people will start fighting over it. :ohnoes: Fact: Global warming is causing water to evaporate at a faster rate than ever. Therefore: We are running out of clean water. Solution: Purify the water. Last year, I think we were down about 30ish feet of rain. And several small ponds in my area dried up. Oh yeah, I also heard (from National Geographic) that we have 10 years to reduce carbon emissions by 75% or global warming will become unstoppable.
  12. Ultimate Frisbee has been called the nerd's game because many of us who attend Duke TIP's (Talent Identification Program BTW, we have to take the SAT as seventh graders and score above, well, its about 1600 total) summer camps play.
  13. I use a google/frontpage combo. I just use frontpage, save as a .htm or a .html, then upload it onto my google site, and then link from there. Why? First of all, you can't beat 500mb. -The URL is http://WEBSITE.googlepages.com, so that's easy, too. -Google gagets are the coolest. -You get a max of five sites from one account -You also get a whole load of other programs you can access. Bad: -Templates, although kinda good, are no match to what I can do with plain HTML. That can be bypassed with the upload .htm file, but that also makes it somewhat a pain to update for slower computers. -No forum or guestbook. I get my forum from CreateMyBB, and my guestbook from another site I can't remember right now. Can be good or bad: -Still in beta. Which means it keeps changing. Some features are great, others not so great. (EDIT: I mean it has a beta version)
  14. To answer the question: I would say just be there to listen for him. Try to find out what's really upsetting him, but don't probe. Also try to find out if he's serious about suicide. If he's serious about suicide, and has plans about it already, tell someone. Otherwise, you can tell someone, but tell them to keep it quiet. Show him how much there still is to life. There's still a world out there. The small things matter. Give him something to live for, take his mind off of death. Therapy and drugs can hurt more than help, they should only be used in drastic situations. I can't guarantee this will work, but I used on myself. I still catch myself thinking negatively, but I've stopped staring at piles of rope and bleach. Now, if someone was telling me to think positively, I'd be wondering if the long drop was more painful than bleach or not.
  15. Wrecks havoc on my eyes, but I turn all the lights off, get a really bright light, and shine it on a book while attempting to read the book in question. In five minutes, my eyes are sore. Afterwards, I fall asleep very quickly. Mind you, sometimes the book in question is so good I stay up till midnight reading it. If so, I switch to a more normal light that doesn't hurt my eyes. I don't take sleeping pills, not even when I have jet lag. I don't care that I'll wake up every hour because it's morning where I was. (13 hour time difference)
