"Pan's Labyrinth" is the story of a young girl that travels with her mother and adoptive father to a rural area up North in Spain, 1944. After FrancoÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâôs victory. The girl lives in an imaginary world of her own creation and faces the real world with much chagrin. Looks like one hell of a movie; long story short it's about a girl who creates an imaginary world to come to terms with what's happening in her life. Looks like a fairytale story but apparently there's some brutal violence in it...sounds like a good movie to me :)

That looks creepy :shock: I think that movies will either be brilliant or awful. Its a good concept but I imagine it will be really hard to pull off without straying into the horror genre or being over the top.

Hm? I was bit surprised that no one had posted this before. I was planning to go see that on art film festival at september, but I missed it. Shots I've seen from this film were quite... interesting.

 

 

 

Afterall, it is delToro's movie so it can't be very lame.

Del Toro is a very talented director. I can't wait to see this one, hope it comes out soon here. :)
