Aelius
The following weapons are the only weapons that I would want to use Shortsword Longsword Scimitar Battleaxe I am currently a non-member, but that's irrelevant for this topic. For the duration of this message, the tiers of weaponry (Bronze, Iron, Steel...) are not relevant at all. I'd like to know percisely what difference the different weapons do. I realize the basic principles behind it, which are as follows (to me recollection) Speed (from slowest to fastest) Battleaxe, Longsword, Shortsword, Scimitar Power (From weakest to strongest) Shortsword, Scimitar, Longsword, Battleaxe But just how much faster is a longsword compared to a battleaxe? Just how much stronger is a Longsword to a Scimitar? Questions like those two are what made me make this thread. Most folks aren't like me, and would simply settle for "Battleaxe is stronger, so I'll use that". Younger players might say "Scimitar looks coolest, I'll use that.". But me? I'm a number cruncher. I need to know the algorithms in place for combat. I want to know exactly how fast a longsword is in comparison to a scimitar. I want to know how much of a difference a piercing weapon is against plated armour compared to a crushing weapon. "Gee, I never thought of that", most people would probably say. Well, some people have played Runescape for years, so I'm hoping somebody could help me out. As for armour, what's the algorithm in place for determining whether or not you receive 0 damage, or 1 damage, or 2 etc. And finally, how much of a hindrance to ranged combat is heavy armour? If I wear plated armour and attempt to fire an arrow, what happens?

victor1995
go to the equip screen there you will find all your bonuses. if you are wearing full rune, your range attack bonus will be negative. the higher it is, the higher you can hit. if your range attack bonus is a lot negative, you will only hit 1s. scimitars are faster, but battleaxes are stronger but i dont know exactly No! You'll die if you try to kill that farmer!nah whips should be as left as is. besides theyre the intestine of an abbysal demon (i think) have fun crafting that.
