I believe stews are -6 to +6 but the plus 6 is so rare its quicker to gain a level. Even with +5 i went through 20 stews. (I'm so glad I had a cat not a kitten) But yes you can raise it with a stout or stew. The smithing color is orange btw if you already didn't know. Are stews a raise of 1-6? - Yes, but also -1 to -6, it's random so for many levels it's easier/quicker to smelt your way up there. 4. Else, your only option is brewing. To get a mature one, you have to be lucky.... Also buyable from other players, but rare I guess... Other data was removed when acoount got hacked...
