I was wondering how many clans use clan banks and how do they implement them. I was concidering makeing one for my order but still havent quite worked out how it would be of value to us. I know what your thinking I cant transfer items from my account to anouther and im not going to. I would let the other members of my order make investments into it that they would recive something like 10 percent intrest back on.

Well, the Clan Bank is a great way to show your members that they can trust you. I myself have to use 4 accounts and then some to store items that are being donated. Basically, the bank should hold the items until the time for an event comes. Always keep track of who donated what and when.

We have a clan bank too, it's useful to us because you can get donations and but raw materials, and if you have a clan smither, he can smith stuff like addy+ for your pks

Exactly, the clan banks are perfect for raw materials to be given to your workers on the day of the event. :)

Espicially urs because urs is a skill based "guild" for me, I have to organize events to gather raws lol.

Haha, it's more than that. Our miners Guild is currently stockpiling ores. Thos ores will go to our smiths account who'll hand the ores out to the smiths when we have a order to fill or if we are just having an event. Everything must be kept track of otherwise donation accounts become too much of a hassle.

Clan banks are very useful. I created my clan's clan bank years ago. It only contains the items fo the uniforms though. Also, make sure ur rich so u can stock up :wink:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Before events though, it takes a very very long time to distribute all the items, so watch out for that.

well i cant personaly interact with it that would be against the rules. so would drop tradeing or getting a frend to trade stuff. the idea is quite simple that some of our members who are interested would make an investment be it gold coins or items and get it back along with 10 percent interest by the end of the month. the bank would sell the exess for profit to non members and for low profit to members at a much lower price than the going rate.

I tried talking to JAGeX about interacting with clan banks. I don't drop trade, but my clan members put items on it, sometimes from my main. JAGeX still hasn't replied for....five months?

If your members don't trust you in the first place then there's something wrong with the clan. You don't have to donate but if you do, keep it on your account.

Actually, no one should trust clans. Remember what Jagex said about item trading and how it tests loyalty of a new recruit to the clan? Well, if people don't trust you, it's alright. But no trust for the clan is really bad.

this isent for the new recrutes its for the older more experionced and loyal members. also when it comes to very large sums I will not exept them as investments or donations for the very reson that I know our bank cannot possably pay them back. we got a rather nice offer from guilds today, for 70 coal they will provide us with a set of full mithrill. No kidding, your members must love the clan enough to be willing to donate. Be sure to make donations 100% optional But you know that already also.

Humm... 70 coal for a full set of mith... 13 bars... 56 coal... 14 left over to cover for mith ore? Seems a bit overpriced. And yeah, donations should be optional... if you MAKE people donate... tsk tsk tsk...

That's the general idea of the bank. Nobody only but the leader knows the password to the bank. Just make it clear that all donations aren't going to be returned because they'll be used for events etc.

no the leader should not. I try my best to set a good example to my men. the bank would be loaded with all sorts of stuff by now but due to my inability to trade with accounts I must rely opon our members to provide the nessacary material.

JAGeX needs to loosen up because they know f2p clan leaders don't have nearly enough bank space to store all that.

I have multiple donation accounts. If we have an event, all the items are collected by the appropriate donation account.
