November 27, 200619 yr I think they are Merchanters...they try to increase the prices of items just for the sake of increasing the price. Since the whip fell in price Soo much alot of slayer people were upset by this and i guess they are just trying to increase the prices back up ----Retired Runescape Player 1/13/07-----
November 27, 200619 yr its like this its a team scam 1 person gets a warrior ring and he gets like 2or more freinds to say buying warrior ring 4mill and then the guy with warrior ring says buying whip 4mill and since ppl see ppl buying warrior ring for 4mill there gunna say wow i could get 2mill off this! u accpet and they log off and u just lost 1.4m i... don't... understand... :-s 1 person trys to get u to think warrior ring is 4mill when its rlly 500k so hes freind would say buying whip 4mill and thinking that whip is only 1.9 u would get alot of o money off it most common scam
November 28, 200619 yr Yes, very common team scam. I don't see how anyone falls for it, but they sure do try. You see someone in the whip area spamming "Buying Warrior ring 4 mil" over and over. This is an attempt to make you think a warrior ring is worth 4 mil. His friend is spamming "buying whip 3.5 mil", and trys to buy a whip for a warrior ring, hoping you'll think "Wow, I can sell this ring for 4 mil to this guy over there" But everyone knows that a warrior ring is 400-500k on world 2, anyway. Lame scam attempt, and you can't report it because its a team attempt. A circus in Runescape?? Oh my. REMEMBER RUNESCAPE KARMA! Be a nice player, and nice things will come back to you.I'm back, add me if you deleted me. :)

November 29, 200619 yr Maybe trying to scam, watch out for these. You think your getting a good price but they end up scamming you. Yes, he is right... Their scammers. Not proven till guilty (in other words just because EXTREMELY overpriced doesn't mean they're going to scam) though they probably will. Returned 10/03/2010 after a two year break.
