Aelius
Since there's thousands of members, how does the game deal with houses? The world simply isn't big enough to hold thousands of houses. I'm a free player, but may become a member soon enough, so I was just wondering how that worked. Two other things, what is a "ko"? And why do people consider a scimitar to be better than a longsword? The speed is almost identical. EDIT: Oh, and what's a "pure"?
Elessar3019
OK, I'll address your questions in order. Houses You don't actually see everybody else's house unless you use a portal. There is a portal that you can enter to take you to your house or a friend's house. So that way you can have 850,000+ people all with houses that they can call their own. KO, to the best of my knowledge, means "knocked out." I believe it is used when a PKer gets a kill with relatively no damage to him/herself. Scimitar is the traditional favorite because it can generate exp faster. The speed difference, while not dramatic, does cause a quicker accumulation of exp over a large amount of time. perfect grammar is one thing, typing like a drugged monkey and enjoying it is anotherAMEN! meol
In order to enter to a POH, you must go through a portal. It "teleports" you to your house, (or a friend's house if they are accepting guests and are at their house). The only thing you can see while in your POH is the building and your plot. I don't really know what a ko is, but I don't think it means knock out, is it? People tend to preffer the scimitar over the long mainly because of the speed, although it might not sem that much to you. A pure (mainly a strength pure) is someone whose stats look like this: Attack: 40 Strength: 60 Defense: 1 They do this in order to be able to hit higher than other people of the same combat level. Most of them don't get prayer levels either. Hope this helps! :D This signature is intentionally left blank.
psycho1701
The purpose of a pure is to kill other players at a lower lvl of wilderness. It's when some1 has focused on getting 1 combat skill (such as mage) as high as possible while keeping the others (like defence for examlpe) at 1 or something.
