Havn't been on here much lately.. last time I was on this particular forum, I was working on a dragon WIP. well heres the 'completed' version.. not going to change anything on it, i finished it weeks ago..

 

 

 

it has a plain bg cause anything i tried didnt look any good. besides, the plain bg places emphasis on the dragon.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

also i decided to start a new sig, one that ive tried before but never managed to make it look even partially decent. think its working a bit better this time. the weird wide strip around the outside is supposed to be a 'creative border'. still trying to work out what to do with the bg scenery behind the pegasus. I'm loving the dragon. I agree the plain bg is good. I like the horns and the eyes the best on it. the on problem is the neck is a bit thin where it turns good tho.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I can't wait to see the unicorn one. I can only see one problem with the line work: the mane is lop-sided. Othere then that the baclround... soooooo un-original. Last two things are :

also fix the hair.

feel free to post better ideas for the bg. from the angle, im stuck for ideas. also im not keen on an evil 'tree' though those were owl eyes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i knew when i was drawing the mane that it was a bit.. messed up. going to fix that when i actually add shading and hair texture. thanks for the post

for an idea maybe in front of like catherby castle in runescape. with the fountain an all. or a scene on the ice mountain? those are places I might do when I can shade snow and water decently. try them. They are original.

ah no offense, but i dont really like doing runescape scenes or characters anymore. its basically like copying other graphics, IMO.. id rather create something that is mine.

anyway, here is my idea, a wild horse (athletic, wildy, slightly scruffy) with darkk grey hair is charging towards you running through a small lake sending water splashing up. that would look awsome. would do it myself but i cant draw horses >_<

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

as for what you have done it looks great! is the wing ment to be semi transparent? cos you can see some of its body through the wing o0 if so make the upper half darkker since its on a darkk background. as for the boarder it just looks weird, like a smaller sig pasted ontop of another sig. just looks rather weird, WOWA! that horse looks stoned! its eye. maybe if you had the eye closed like its dreaming. hmm i wonder what horses do dream? sorry offtopic, but yeah have it shut like its relaxing. also sorts out the stoner problem.

psb, i dont remember ever saying i was going to quit completly. all i said (if i remember correctly) was that i had exams and too much at school at the time so stopped. i couldnt ever quit completly; id get too bored lol.

Nice update, although i hate the eyes in the tree sorry, makes it look really cheesy, and the moon needs to be fixed. Try adding some clouds in aswell, break up the monotony in the sky.
