Malhavok
1.Unlike regular range of 4xp per 1 pt of damage, you only get 1 xp per 1 pt of damage. 2. . . . 3.You would get faster kills, thus more money faster. Geaux Tigers ! Congrats on a great year !

Mat
Instead of getting 4 ranged exp per damage, you will only get 2 (not 1). From 35 to 62 would cost you a good amount of money. If you hit an average for 10 per cannonball, that's still around 18k cannonballs, which cost around 160gp each: approximately 2.88M You will NOT make more money per drops till you hit around 58 slayer (for black masks). At 80 slayer, when i cannoned, I made the money back because of rune boots but apart from that, the rest of the slayer items dont sell as much (except whip of course). If you cannon and such, I would say a maximum of around 5-8K exp per hour, no more. I went on for around 8 hours (without cannon) and only got around 77k exp. (that was only one day XD). Considering your range level, I would guess that you arent that high in terms of combat. Therefore, maybe around 6k-8K exp per hour max.
huseyine
im 75 combat i just wanted to get a cannon coz range lvl is 40 and i wanted 2 get slayer up faster. Are you sure its only like 8k per hour?? since i can make more by just fighting alone
Mat
Slayer is an EXTREMELY slow skill. I can barely get around 10-15k exp per hour without cannoning (since I'm so distracted, I'm sure I can pull off 20K exp even). But that was with black mask, barrow gloves, guthans, dragon battle axe, whip, etc. You, I'm sure, will have trouble reaching 10k exp per hour. You can try it if you dont believe me :)
jade_slayer6
to prevent from getting flamed, do not set up in places with limited respawns and many peoeple ie. blue dragon unlike daggonaths with multi and almost no people
huseyine
ok. So should i use cannon and fight at the same time??
Mat
I would suggest you dont cannon 99% of the tasks. The best cannonable tasks: Trolls, Dagganoths, Kalphite 'bugs' and black demons. Everything else is a waste of money (black demons can actually break you even for the amount of cannonballs used for them if you're lucky). Mat
Seems that two people gave you different advices. Take the one you think you should take (keep in mind the cost of the items and such as well).
