December 2, 200619 yr Im a short distance sprinter, and im buying a new pair of [bleep]es, im just not sure what I should get. (preferably nike as i live near a big nike outlet store) Im 75kg, 6 ft 4, and I have wide feet. I was looking at the nike zoom superfly g5's, as it has the ridgid plate im looking for, though it might be a little to ridgid for when I run 400's as I often don't run on my toes during the back straight and it could wreck it. Plus I am a little concerned about running turns with it being so rigid. If anyone has had these some feedback would be appreciated. Someone on another forum recomended me powercats, but they dont look that good. Does anyone here sprint? - I mean seriously, people that know their stuff. If so your opinions are most welcome. December 2, 200619 yr Oo The 400 Meter..Eek. Probably the hardest event. Flat out sprinting for 400 Meters. :P :shock: It's like sprinting for a minute. That's like, punishment!

December 2, 200619 yr 400M isn't even a mile, its 1 full lap around the track 1600M is a mile I participated in the 400M in Track during my high school year

December 2, 200619 yr Author Im 16 and run 10.9 - 100m but I can't get any quicker so im going to 400m, which in turn will make me fitter and better at 200m. 22.3 - 200m 53 something - 400m, Im hoping to get it down to 52 by third term next year. December 2, 200619 yr Ill try my two cents at this Im a 800, 1600 and 3200m runner so i generally try to give my best advice for shoes. You said that you had failry wide feet, so my advice would be to avoid nike because they usually run fairly thin. I would reccomend something like a saucony or an asic. These are jsut opinion btw. If you have a running store near where you live i would reccomend you go there and get your gate examined, that usually finds the best shoe for you. ...
