every time i get a clue scroll, and do it, i get bad items

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i mean, the best thing i've ever gotten was acouple of green firelighters, and they aren't even trade-able!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

take in mind that these are lvl 1 clue scrolls though....

Well... that's a level 1 clue for ya. It's hard to get anything good off of those at all. If you really want to start rolling in the loot, go after level 3s. Basic ones will give you a full set of rune if you're lucky.

and btw, i've done alot of clue scrolls, the one i just got from banshees better get me somethign good.....

I often do runs of lvl 1 clue scrolls (just sit around in ham dungeon picking pockets until i get one) and when i do that one, come back for another

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I rarely get anything good, but the 1 time you DO get something good often makes up for all the times you dont get anything decent at all

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The most valuable thing you are likely to get with lvl 1 is gold trimmed wizzy robes (sell 'em to nonmembers on world 1)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you cant handle lvl 3s, guards can be a good source of lvl 2s

I say they hate me too a lot. I've been through roughly 40 clues straight with the best reward being god pages... which I don't find very good. Only a couple of them were levels 2s, rest level 3s.

I'm in the habit of catching level 3 clues. The only thing that are a pain with those are the God wizards that appear on coordinate clues.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But I've never gotten a level 3 clue that's left me high and dry. Usually it's rune plate, legs, helmets, or black d-hide items. I've gotten Zammy legs before. So yes... when you can, start doing level 3s

I'm not really that unlucky....first day of members I killed a guard and got ranger boots from the clue at lvl 68...thats basically all of my clues, i don't get a lot though.

lol i've been getting really bad things lately, but one day when i was sick from school, i did 3 cluee scrolls, and in all of htem i got a zammy page!

Assuming all monsters are equally likely to drop a clue, and assuming all monsters are equally likely to give good rewards, i spose it makes sense to kill the lowest level monster which drops lvl 3s....(cyclopses in warrior guild)

I'm lucky :D : I've had 2 level 1 scrolls, } In a week

First level 1 scroll : White beret + 10 trouts

 

 

 

Second level 1 scroll : Saradomin page 4 + 40 deaths

 

 

 

Third level 1 scroll : Highwayman-mask (sold for 80k) + 40 minds

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

First level 2 scroll : Ghutix page 2 + red firelighters

well, i did a lvl 1 clue scroll yesterday, and i got a thing of guthix robe legs, =) :D :), hopfully, the curse has left me, lol

sometimes i guess people will just have incredibly bad luck with clues
