Best weapon to kill a skeleton?

What is the best weapon to use to kill skeletons? I've heard that a pickaxe is good as it crushes the skeleton but a pickaxe isn't really a very good fighting weapon, Are there any other weapons that are good? The weapons I have are 2H, B-Axe, Schimmy, Pickaxe, Axe and a skull sceptre( -.- ).

Use a 2H with the "crush" option selected. You'll find it does a truly awesome job. :)

But it's like twice as slow as the schimmy.... I got no paitence at all, I can't even wait for the 2h to make another hit #-o

Try using a battle axe then because they are slightly quicker and I believe they have the crush option. If you still aren't happy just use a long sword.

If he doesn't like any of those, then he should use the scimitar. Knocks bones out of place with ease. :)

Tried the difference with the 2h, b-axe and schimmy... I almost wanted to drop the 2h and logout and the B-Axe was pretty good, Great force and the speed was enough. So now I will be using the B-Axe when I'm training, thanks bloodangel! O:) :thumbsup:

But the best melle weapon for the job, would either be war hammer or battle axe.
