I'm trying to make a pure str so i can have some fun in the wild too.

 

 

 

I've started only yesterday, and i have a 14 lvl pure.

 

 

 

I've been reading some posts here trying to understand the best way to train my pure,. I'm currently with the following stats:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

atk:8

 

 

 

str:20

 

 

 

def:1

 

 

 

range:5

 

 

 

prayer:10

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The pure is wearing full iron and steel scimmy, and have bonus xp with ammy of power and str potions. I went to the wild 3 times, between lvl 1 and 3, and i was killed 3 times by mages. The 1st time i was just stupid thinking i could defeat a mage 1lvl above me, the 2nd i start thinking it is best i don't mess with mages, but a lower lvl atract me to one (team), and the 3rd time i was in lvl one and died with 2 hits of a mage, i didn't even had time to think, it was like a 3 seconds KO.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I was wondering, what am i doing wrong? I like pk but it isn't that fun when i keep dieing all the time, any advices? Should i wait for the right level to go to the wild?

also at such low level of pking mages will own but at highe levs theyre not that great

There's really nothing you can do until your defence is higher. Part of your problem may be that you keep the metal armour on while fighting the mages, which just gives them an added bonus. Try also getting your mage up once your combat is strongly melee-based, so you can defend against the mages better. And don't forget the combat triangle:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Warrior > Ranger

 

 

 

Ranger > Mage

 

 

 

Mage > Warrior

There's really nothing you can do until your defence is higher. Part of your problem may be that you keep the metal armour on while fighting the mages, which just gives them an added bonus. Try also getting your mage up once your combat is strongly melee-based, so you can defend against the mages better. And don't forget the combat triangle:

well u can become a hybrid raising mage cause it makes them hit less and range so if u find a mage u can own them also the armor is good 4 meleeing mages with green d hide also it will raise your hp lvl so u can take more damage also when u train a melee pure u should have atk higher then str until 40 then train str cause rune scimmy owns like 40 str and 20 atk

get 40 range, and wear d-hide chaps and vambs.

But don't i need the dragon slayer quest to use that? Because the quest gives 18650xp, that way the dude won't be pure anymore.

d slayer only gives accses to d hide pl8 and rune pl8 so no worrys
