Cuss words....

Featured Replies

Often I let a cuss word slip, and it comes out as **** or something, and then nine people are like: "Reported!" If it comes out as **** do you still get in trouble? Or is it only if you find a way around it like using 1337 speak?

You should be fine, if the word was not bad in the context of the sentence. Getting the word blocked is not as bad as trying to evade the censor.

The problem Jagex has is with people tryig to evade the censor.

From what he said in his post it sounds like it was in context. I doubt you'll get in trouble for it though unless you are constantly doing it.

I don't see how you can just let it slip though since you are typing it and for you to type it you gotta be somewhat conscious of what you're typing, unless its such a regular thing that it just comes out :shame: , in that case you might be in trouble. It's not like you're talking and one just slips out, I can see that but typing :-s

Check out my Pocket Slot idea!

No, if you get *'ed out then the censor is doing exactly what it should be doing and you won't get in trouble.

However, I hope you learn to stop, because the censor can be passed with numerous spelling alterations.
