The Protectors of Good

Featured Replies

A long time ago when the World was peaceful and all the villages lived together in harmony a small child was born. At the time of her birth there was no heroes, no adventurers, no legends. No-one knew it but one day this poor peasant girl would become a legend and save the world from a terrible fate.

As the years passed Lakita grew from a small child into a beautiful young maiden. Lakitas̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s life was hard. She had to wake up early every morning and take the long ride from her house in Draynor to the mighty city of Varrock where she stood in the square for hours shouting to all the merchants to buy her wares. After a hard days work she would often go into the inn just down the road from the square and have a nice small meal before the long and tiring journey through the dark woods home. She always sat in the corner dreaming about what her life could be like if she wasn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t poor. She wished that she had a nice small cottage on the outskirts of Varrock like her good friend Gertrude did and wished that instead of standing in Varrock Square all day selling things she could get a servant who would do it for her while she walked round the great city.

One day she was sitting in the corner of the inn when she saw out of the corner of her eye a large crowd run by the inn. She ran out of the inn like many other people to see what all the excitement was for. She pushed her way through to the middle of the huge crowd where she saw the most horrific sight that she had ever laid eyes on. Lying on the floor were three small children, they were all battered and bruised and blood was coming out of their many wounds. The crowd around them was poking at them with their swords and staffs. The children were screaming in pain and were very close to being taken by death. Lakita was so horrified, How could people do this to innocent children she thought. As Lakita stood there frozen in horror about a hundred more men and women came rushing at the massive crowd and fighting with the crowd who had been torturing the innocent children. Within seconds of the new crowds arrival Lakita was in the middle of a war zone, people were fighting everywhere and hundreds of merchants and citizens who had gathered like Lakita ran towards the Square creating utter chaos.

three letters killed it for me "omg" I didn't bother reading the rest. I've only seen two people be able to pull off a story with rs slang, and their long gone.

Pm me if you need anything proof-read, I may not be very good, but I am always willing to help.

A Seal Clubber is me!

A Oxygenarin is me!

I kind of liked it, although there is lots of repition (i.e, the word 'small') and alot of grammatical mistakes. However I kind of enjoyed what I read, but I didn't finish it. It just didn't grip me. I do like the first two paragraphs though. I'd be happy to proofread it for you.
