Curious about the xp from gem stalls?

Was looking at the thieving guide and it says that theiving from gem stalls only gets you 16xp every 3 minutes? Any idea why they would make it so low for the highest level required stall?

If Jagex ever made a perfect update, there would be players complaining about nothing to complain about.

I have no idea, I hate it though  I created a very popular rant about this in the Runescape Official Forums a while back, but it was eaten by the page 51 monster and Jagex never said anything about it

I actually never bothered myself with the exp from gem stall. :P Only reason i would steal from it is for free uncut gems.

Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.

I dont know, but I always steal whenever I tele to Ardounge, it adds up. Picking safes in rouges den is a much better source of gems though, as there is no spawn time.

Thieving is a skill that need an overhaul, to make some of the higher level npc's (and gem stall!) give reasonable amount of exp per hour.

Please think before you ask a question. If you ask the right question, its much more likely you get the answer you are looking for :)
